Guidelines for
Submitting Events
What events are eligible for calendar
submission?
The Newton County Tourism Council considers an eligible "event" to be: a
theatrical or musical performance, public show
or exhibit, festival, sporting event, or other
form of entertainment or recreation which may
be of interest to a large number of people
visiting or living in Newton County. "Events"
must have finite dates and be open to the
public.
How does the
submission process work?
After you have completed the submission
form, it is sent to the Newton County
Tourism Council for approval. If your event meets the eligibility
guidelines listed above, the
calendar editor posts it to the online Event
Calendar at newtoncountymotourism.org. The calendar
editor reserves the right to edit events
submissions to maintain consistency with other
listings. Please make sure to fill in all the
fields on the submission form, or the event
may not be listed.
